As modern DJ software technology lives on in dance clubs and underground parties, a new one emerges with the promise to knock both Serato and Traktor out of there place. This new DJ software is called Rekordbox and it packs quiet a punch. With Rekordbox organization of music inside of the software was it's primary focus. The "Match" feature is unlike any other software allowing you to match songs within a library of the same tempo and key of a song. The technology even goes as far as suggesting what songs can sound good together based on an analysis of the music's tempo and key. Another key feature is the ability to put small comment boxes above points in a song and as well as play the song from different positions (verse or chorus). By far the most impressive feature is the ability to transfer a whole playlist organized in Rekordbox from a Laptop to a USB. After that you can load your music library to any DJ Controller and Mixer (If it has a library functionality) straight from a USB. That means for DJs all you have to do now is bring a USB instead of your Laptop to plug into the club's DJ system.
